How it works
- A new puzzle drops every day at midnight Toronto time (Eastern), at the same moment for everyone, wherever you are.
- Everyone gets the same song by The Hip each day, locked behind five scrambled words from its lyrics. The words run from the vaguest at the top to the biggest giveaway at the bottom.
- Know it straight away? Name it before unlocking anything for 100 points. A miss there is free.
- Unscramble the words one at a time. After each word you have to name the song (or pass) before the next word opens. Each scrambled word stays hidden until it opens.
- The sooner you get it, the more it's worth: 100, then 90, 80, 70, 60, and 50 after words 1 to 5. Miss on word 5 and you get the album as a hint (or the year it came out, when the song is the title track), for one last guess worth 30.
- Wrong unscrambles are free. Revealing a word instead of unscrambling it costs 10, but a right answer always scores at least 10.
- Miss the last guess (or give up) and the trunk stays locked for the day. Yer points add up over every game you play.
